Florida Emergency Adjuster Licensing

The Florida Department of Insurance has announced that in preparation for Hurricane Irma, the Emergency Adjuster license application is available at this time for all insurance companies.

If you are an insurance company or adjusting firm who is already registered as an appointing entity in Florida, and have the need for emergency adjusters, please click here for emergency adjuster licensing information and a link to the online application.

The webpage includes an instruction guide, which will walk you through the application process. Once the application(s) is submitted and paid for via credit card, the license(s) will be issued within 24 hours. In most cases, the license(s) are issued in three to four hours. In Florida, emergency adjusters are not required to be fingerprinted or take a course or exam.

Please note the following fees per applicant:

Application Fee = $50.00
License ID Fee = $ 5.00
Appointment Fee = $10.00
