Cammecia Johnson
Licensing Supervisor

A native of Mexia, Texas, Cammecia Johnson joined the ILSA Team in 2006 as a Licensing Specialist, quickly mastering the fundamentals of insurance licensing.  In August 2007, she transitioned to the Surplus Lines Tax Filings Team where she served as the Multi-State Placement Coordinator and then as Team Leader.  Her commitment to meeting her clients’ needs in this critical area of regulatory compliance was recognized in 2009, when her department nominated her for ILSA’s Award for Outstanding Customer Service.

Cammecia shares ILSA’s commitment to “giving back” to our community – especially to the next generations.  From 2000 to 2005, she taught for the Head Start educational outreach program.  She remains deeply involved in her church’s youth activity programs, helping to coordinate events such as the annual Vacation Bible School.  She also enjoys spending time with her family and reading and is working on her degree in applied science.
