AR| Arkansas Insurance Department Bulletin No. 10-2026, dated September 17, 2026, announces an upcoming change to the state’s insurance licensing process for applicants whose license type requires an examination. Once implemented later in 2026, applicants will be required to pass the applicable licensing examination before submitting their license application and criminal background check to the Department.
The Arkansas Insurance Department states that the revised order is intended to streamline licensing procedures and will issue further information on the effective date, detailed requirements, and implementation through its Licensing webpage.
