OR| Oregon’s Division of Financial Regulation has issued REVISED Bulletin DFR 2026-6, identifying the Affected Areas subject to the July 31, 2026 Wildfire Emergency Order. Effective immediately for all admitted insurers.
What carriers and compliance teams should know:
- The bulletin also flags alternate employee workplaces and secondary business locations outside the principal place of business as considerations when applying the ZIP table
- 50 ZIP codes across 24 counties are designated, with first-affected dates from July 29 through August 3, 2026
- Appendix A maps every ZIP code to its counties and first-affected date — the operational detail your claims and billing systems need
- DFR will revise the ZIP list as evacuation orders change, with updates issued through GovDelivery and posted to the division’s website
- Insurers are encouraged to let consumers attest to being affected and to extend relief in good faith
