AL| The Alabama Department of Insurance’s August 6, 2026 amendments to Regulation 482-1-110 take effect January 1, 2027 and primarily update fees associated with producer/service-representative license renewals and continuing-education provider/course approvals. The rule otherwise retains the biennial renewal framework, 24-hour continuing-education requirement (including 3 hours of ethics) for non-exempt individual licensees, and the 30-day post-expiration renewal window with a late fee. The amended regulation also continues to require CE providers to renew authority annually and submit course-completion records within 10 days.
