AS| The Office of the Insurance Commissioner of American Samoa has issued an official public notice dated November 3, 2025, announcing that Individual Assurance Company (IAC) is withdrawing and discontinuing all insurance operations in the Territory under ASCA Title 29, Section 29.0323. Existing IAC policies remain in force, with all valid claims to be paid, and policyholders must continue premium payments; no new insurance policies will be issued or renewed. Final withdrawal approval will be granted only after all claims and policy obligations are resolved appropriately, and any objections to the withdrawal must be submitted in writing to the Insurance Commissioner within seven days of final notice publication.
