AS| The January 9, 2026 Notice from the American Samoa Office of the Insurance Commissioner announces that Progressive PPG Ltd., Oxford Pacific Ins. Management, and Insurance Company of the Pacific have become insolvent and ceased operations, and it establishes an emergency and final claims process for affected policyholders. It applies to all active policies and pending claims from January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2022, and gives policyholders 30 days from the January 9, 2026 notice date to file refund or loss claims in order to preserve their rights. Claimants must submit a sworn Complaint/Claim Form plus supporting documentation, including a certificate or binder of insurance, proof of premium payments for the 2022 fiscal year, and documentation substantiating any losses (such as police reports, damage assessments, and medical records) to the Office of the Insurance Commissioner at the Lumana’i Development Building in Tafuna, Pago Pago. The notice warns that failure to file a claim within the prescribed liquidation window may harm the claimant’s ability to recover assets.
