FL| The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation has issued a Notice to Industry regarding the 2026 Catastrophe Reporting Form (CRF), which will be used to collect claims and other relevant information from insurance companies following natural disasters causing catastrophic damage in Florida. The 2026 CRF is being provided in preparation for the Atlantic Hurricane Season beginning June 1, 2026, and if a natural disaster causes catastrophic damage in Florida, all insurers and other regulated entities will be required to provide claims and other relevant information using this form. Companies will first submit simplified claims data immediately following an event, and then OIR will provide notice requiring enhanced claims data submission at a time specified by the agency.
