NJ| New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance Bulletin No. 26-05 notifies licensed insurers that New Jersey is again participating in the multi-state Climate Risk Disclosure Survey for Reporting Year 2025—led by the California Department of Insurance alongside 27 other states and jurisdictions—which requires all insurers licensed in New Jersey that wrote more than $100 million in direct written premium nationwide during 2025 to submit responses using the TCFD-aligned NAIC Climate Risk Disclosure Survey (unless already required to report through another partner state, in which case they file with that jurisdiction); completed responses must be self-contained single PDF documents submitted through the interactive web application by August 31, 2026, with group filers required to submit a separate document for each in-group company exceeding the $100 million threshold, an option to answer voluntary closed-ended (Y/N) questions via SurveyMonkey, publicly available prior-year responses and archived NAIC webinars for guidance, and technical questions directed to ClimateRiskSurvey@insurance.ca.gov.
