IA| The Iowa Insurance Division (IID) has issued Bulletin 25-03 announcing that, effective June 2, 2025, certain applicants for insurance licenses in Iowa will be required to undergo state and federal fingerprinting and criminal history checks as mandated by Iowa Code 522B.5A. Fieldprint has been selected as the vendor to perform fingerprinting and federal checks, while the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) will conduct state checks using the fingerprints collected. Applicants subject to these requirements will receive detailed instructions from IID, and all associated costs will be the responsibility of the applicant.
