KS| The Kansas Department of Insurance’s September 8, 2026 bulletin requests that non-admitted insurers submit policy transaction data through SLIP+ for States beginning with 2026 business to reconcile insurer premiums with amounts reported by Kansas surplus lines licensees and independently procured coverage insureds. Foreign insurers report quarterly, while alien insurers report annually. Submissions should reflect the declarations page and include the policy number, insured, surplus lines agent or direct procurement filer name, agent National Producer Number, transaction effective date, and 100% of the premium for Kansas home-state policies.
- Foreign insurer deadlines: January–June 2026 transactions were due September 30, 2026; Q3 is due December 31, 2026; Q4 is due March 31, 2027.
- Alien insurer deadline: All 2026 transactions are due June 30, 2027.
