MD | The Maryland Insurance Administration today issued Bulletin 23-11. It reminds property and casualty producers of the new 2-hour continuing education for flood insurance that takes effect on October 1, 2023. The bulletin reviews the compliance criteria and provides contact information for the state’s CE services provider.
The two hours of flood CE is not in addition to the otherwise required property and casualty CE
hours. The total number of CE hours required for each renewal period will remain the same.
