The initial open enrollment for these individuals runs from October 1, 2025 to April 1, 2026, with future open enrollment beginning on the first day of the month Medicare Part B coverage starts. Issuers have until January 1, 2026 to implement system updates and rate adjustments, but must begin accepting enrollment requests from October 1, 2025 for policies effective January 1, 2026. Carriers are required to submit updated forms and rates promptly to meet these deadlines.
