NM | The New Mexico Office of Superintendent of Insurance has issued Bulletin 2024-022.
This Bulletin rescinds and replaces Bulletin 2019-015 that provided implementation guidance based on the statutory text contained in the 2019 New Mexico State Legislature’s House Bill 311. House Bill 311 was codified in NMSA 1978, §59A-18-33 of the Insurance Code with an effective date of January 1, 2020. The law contemplates cooperation between rating/advisory organizations, Insurers, and the OSI. This bulletin specifies how the notification law must be implemented.
