MI| Michigan DIFS Bulletin 2026-20-INS supersedes Bulletin 2025-18-INS and announces the annual cost-of-living adjustment to the maximum work loss and survivors’ loss benefits payable under personal protection (PIP) policies, as required by MCL 500.3107(1)(b) and MCL 500.3108 and made pursuant to Rule R 500.811. Effective October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, those benefits may not exceed $7,455 per single 30-day period (up from $7,201 the prior year), applied pro rata to any lesser period, and the new maximum applies only to benefits arising from accidents occurring after the effective date.
