NY| ELANY Bulletin No. 2026-20 announces an increase in the New York excess line stamping fee from 0.15% to 0.17% for policies incepting on or after January 1, 2027, while the excess line tax remains unchanged at 3.6% of New York taxable premium. Endorsements will continue to carry the stamping fee rate applicable to the original policy, including 0.15% for policies incepting from January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2026, and the applicable historical rates for older policies. Members should notify their IT departments and update billing systems, programs, and procedures before the effective date, allowing time to address outstanding binders and quotes.
