PA| The Pennsylvania Insurance Department has issued its 2024 Private Passenger Automobile Data Call, requiring various insurance companies to submit specific data depending on their activity in the state. The data call consists of four parts, with different requirements based on each company’s direct written premium in 2024. Submissions are due by October 15, 2025, and templates are available on the Department’s website.
- Part 1 and Part 2: Companies with positive private passenger automobile direct written premium in 2024 must submit Parts 1 and 2 separately by company. Those with no direct written premium in 2024 must submit only Part 2.
- Parts 3 and 4: The 20 largest insurers in terms of 2024 private passenger auto direct written premium are also required to submit Parts 3 and 4, as outlined in the Instructions. This data will support zip code-level loss ratio analysis.
- Submission logistics: All applicable submissions must be provided individually per company, not in combined formats, and are due by October 15, 2025. Official notifications have been emailed to all relevant insurers.
