PA| The Pennsylvania Insurance Department published notice in which Commissioner Michael Humphreys declares a new export list of insurance coverages and risks deemed generally unavailable in the admitted market and therefore exportable — meaning brokers need not perform a diligent search among Pennsylvania-authorized insurers before placing those risks in the surplus lines market. The list spans a broad mix of hard-to-place commercial, professional, environmental, product, transportation, hospitality, and specialty exposures, including several emerging-risk categories such as generative artificial intelligence liability, active assailant, commercial cyber, homeshare, and wire transfer fraud coverage for title agents, with certain entries limited to specific coverage parts (for example liability-only, monoline, or excess placements) and some carve-outs from eligibility. Effective August 1, 2026
