PA| On July 15, 2025, the Pennsylvania Surplus Lines Association issued a Bulletin on Act 45 of 2024, signed into law on July 8, 2025, requires surplus lines agencies to report both personal and commercial lines service fees when issuing insurance policies in Pennsylvania. The law led to enhancements in the Electronic Filing System (EFS) to allow for the direct entry of these service fees, and the 1620 Monthly Report was revised to include specific details on the fees charged for each policy. Agencies must accurately enter the service fee for every new policy in both the EFS and the revised 1620 Monthly Report to remain compliant with Act 45.
