PR| Circular Letter No. CC-2025-2045-D issued by the Commissioner of Insurance of Puerto Rico on February 21, 2025, reminds all property and casualty insurers that write motor vehicle insurance in Puerto Rico of their obligation under Act No. 253-1995 to notify the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) in writing if they intend to participate in the 2025-2026 Compulsory Liability Insurance (SRO) Selection Form. Insurers who have not yet done so must send their notification by email to the OCI no later than March 14, 2025. The letter also clarifies that completing form OCS-ES-2016-32, previously referenced in an earlier circular, is not required for this notification.
