The Utah Insurance Department (Department) regularly receives questions from title licensees about the meaning and application of Utah Admin. Code R592-6, Unfair Inducements and Marketing Practices in Obtaining Title Insurance Business. Because the Title and Escrow Commission’s (TEC) role includes “advising the commissioner of the most critical matters affecting the title insurance industry,” those questions will be answered in the future by the TEC.
