VA| The Virginia State Corporation Commission’s Bureau of Insurance issued Administrative Order No. 12195 on February 13, 2025, approving amendments to the Virginia Automobile Insurance Plan’s commercial manual. The changes include replacing the “Virginia Public or Livery Passenger Conveyance Exclusion” form (CA 05180318) with the updated “Virginia Public or Livery Passenger Conveyance and On-Demand Delivery Services Exclusion” form (CA 05191120). These amendments, submitted by the Automobile Insurance Plans Service Office on November 18, 2024, were deemed proper and consistent with Virginia law. The revisions will apply to new and renewal policies effective on or after May 1, 2025. Copies of the order were distributed to relevant parties, including the Automobile Insurance Plans Service Office and officials managing the Virginia Automobile Insurance Plan.
