MN | Congress passed several federal tax law changes in March as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, Economic Security (CARES) Act, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). Federal tax law changes were also passed in the Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act (PPPFA) of 2020, which passed in June. No action was taken during Minnesota’s 2020 legislative session or special session in June in response to these federal changes.
We have updated Minnesota tax forms for tax years 2017, 2018, and 2019 to reflect the impacts of the CARES Act, the FFCRA, and the PPPFA. Be sure to use the most current forms or update your tax software when filing or amending a Minnesota return.
