NJ| New Jersey has issued Bulletin 21-02. Applicants for resident insurance producer licenses are now able to take the written examination required for issuance of a producer license either in person or remotely. Because the availability of remote testing removes the health risks associated with an in-person test during a pandemic, the need for temporary licenses no longer exists.
Temporary licenses that have been issued will continue in force until the applicant earns a regular license by passing the examination or the temporary license expires.
