NM| The New Mexico Office of Superintendent of Insurance (OSI) has issued Bulletin 2021-002.
The Bulletin provides notice that there has been an unfavorable change to the Public Protection Classification (“PPC”) for the village of Mosquero, located in Harding and San Miguel Counties, New Mexico. According to Insurance Services Organization (“ISO”), a rating/advisory organization, the unfavorable change is based on these facts and circumstances:
Lack of records at the Mosquero Fire Department for personnel response to first alarm structure fires; lack of training records; and limited pump testing for engine companies. As a result of these deficiencies, ISO has classified the community as PPC 7/7X, effective May 1, 2021.
Each insurer of a residential property in the identified community shall notify each customer who may be affected by the unfavorable change within 90 days of this Bulletin.
