MD | Maryland’s Director of Producer Licensing, William Donahue, has issued the following announcement:
“Effective 01/01/18, resident property & casualty producers who write bail bonds are required to complete 4 hours of bail bond CE as part of their biennial CE.
Effective 01/01/18 resident public adjusters and non-resident public adjusters whose home states are not reciprocal for public adjuster licensing with MD will be required to complete 24 hours of CE every two years. 3 ethics and 21 public adjuster and/or P&C.
Effective 01/01/18 initial title producer applicants from non-reciprocal states will have to qualify for a license the same as a MD resident. 20 hours Pre-licensing, exam, and 16 hours of CE every two years. 3 ethics, 13 title and/or P&C.
Effective 01/01/18, existing non-resident title producers from non-reciprocal states will have to complete MD CE. 16 hours every two years. 3 ethics, and 13 title and/or P&C.”
