CO | The Colorado Division of Insurance (DOI) will hold a virtual stakeholder meeting on Tuesday, August 6, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. MDT to discuss the DOI’s potential change to a new Premium Tax Collection System to the company TriTech.
Premium taxes and fees are collected from insurance companies selling policies in Colorado. The DOI is moving to a new system to improve the ease of use and functionality for insurance companies paying premium taxes and fees as well as applying premium tax credits to their quarterly and annual payments.
This meeting will focus on the timing and reasons for the proposed change to the TriTech system, as well as providing an opportunity for stakeholders to provide feedback and ask questions regarding details of the change and processes going forward.
