MS | Commissioner of Insurance and State Fire Marshal Mike Chaney has appointed David Browning as Deputy Commissioner of the Mississippi Insurance Department (MID).
Browning joined MID in 2001 and has served as the Director of the Financial and Market Regulation Division since 2012. In that role, Browning was responsible for financial and nonfinancial oversight of companies licensed in Mississippi. He also worked on legislation for the MID and was responsible for maintaining the MID’s Accreditation status, among other duties.
