CA | On April 23, 2019, ILSA shared that the California Department of Insurance (CDI) planned to use Sircon for online licensing and compliance services. On July 11, CDI issued a notice reminding insurers, producers and compliance professionals that the transition takes place on Monday, August 19, 2019. Consequently, online licensing services will not be available from 3:00 PM PT on August 8, through 5:oo PM PT on August 13, 2019, to facilitate the transition.
CDI will also launch its new Check License Application Status Service (CLASS) on the 19th. The CLASS application allows applicants to track license applications through the review process. It also provides confirmation of documents received and instructions for completing prelicensing education requirements and submitting fingerprints.
Applicants and licensees must have a Sircon subscription to use the new services. The notice includes instructions for applying for Sircon accounts.
