CA | The California Insurance Commissioner’s Office today issued a notice to all resident agents, brokers, and other interested parties. Effective March 1, 2023, the three-hour ethics training requirement now includes a one-hour module on Agent and Broker Anti-Fraud Training. This requirement also applies to prelicensing education.
Licensees who recently completed their ethics training should verify that their course included this module. If it did not, a licensee must still complete the one-hour course prior to submitting their license application or renewing their existing license.
