WA | The Commissioner finds that the State of Emergency caused by the ongoing COVID-19 novel coronavirus outbreak, as identified in the Order, remains in effect. As a result, there is a continued need to ensure access to health care services as provided in Parts A, C, and D of Emergency Order 20-02. However, as with the previous extension, an extension of the grace period for payment of premiums, found in Part E, remains unnecessary. In addition, an extension of the provisions of Part B, which concerns coverage for testing of certain respiratory viruses, is also unnecessary. Therefore, in the Insurance Commissioner’s judgment, the circumstances of the ongoing COVID-19 novel coronavirus outbreak warrant the extension of the duration of Parts A, C, and D of the Order only.
