LA | The Louisiana Department of Insurance today announced changes to a number of long-standing Property & Casualty advisory letters, bulletins, and directives. Click on the links below for further information:
- Directive 67 (originally issued on June 1, 1986) is rescinded. This directive prohibited charging fees not included in the stated premium.
- Bulletin 08-07 (originally issued on January 16, 2008) is rescinded. This bulletin concerned compliance with the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA).
- Directive 181 (originally issued on March 10, 2004) is revised and reissued. This directive concerns credit information reporting requirements for personal lines.
- Bulletin 07-06 (originally issued on August 29, 2007) is revised and reissued to update loss cost multiplier worksheets to conform with current statutes.
