UT | Utah has joined several other states in converting its non-resident independent adjuster licenses using Utah as a Designated Home State (DHS) state to now show the license as being a DHS license. This conversion was completed on March 20th and affected only about 20 licenses.
The Non-Resident Independent Adjuster-DHS-UT license is set up to have the same application and ongoing requirements as would have to be met by a Resident Insurance Adjuster. This helps to ensure CE compliance as a condition for renewal for those who designate Utah as a DHS state.
